Step into a contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make an immediate difference for middle and high school students. Set in a supportive educational environment near Middleton, ID, this role spans from December 14th through March, offering you the chance to work with engaged students and a dedicated school staff.

Work a steady 35-hour week, Monday through Thursday, with daily hours of 8:00 am to 3:45 pm (MST), and an early start of 7:30 am on Mondays. You'll oversee a dynamic caseload covering both middle and high school students, where you’ll put the CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential to valuable use.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) endorsement required
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with middle and high school populations
• Strong collaboration skills to work with students, families, and fellow educators
• Proficiency in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
• Document services and progress for IEP meetings and compliance
• Serve as a resource for staff on communication strategies within the classroom setting
