Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support industrial automation and manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on programming troubleshooting controls integration equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Program troubleshoot and optimize PLC HMI and VFD systems
- Support controls integration across automated manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related equipment issues
- Work with robotics conveyors vision systems and automated inspection equipment
- Maintain and update electrical schematics and controls documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability efficiency and performance
- Assist with automation upgrades and continuous-improvement projects
- Work collaboratively with engineering maintenance and production teams
Qualifications
- 5 years of controls engineering or industrial programming experience
- Strong PLC HMI and VFD programming and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with mechatronics automation or controls integration
- Strong manufacturing-equipment troubleshooting ability
- Experience with robotics conveyors vision systems or automated inspection equipment
- Ability to read and maintain electrical schematics
- Lean or Six Sigma experience is preferred
