Quick Facts: Location: 65 West Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway, NJ 08240 Start Date: 07/01/2026 Duration: Opening for ongoing coverage from July 2026 Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, with weekend call (2+ weekends/month, not consecutive) Hours/Week: 40+ hours per week Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm License/Certs: Active NJ medical license (preferred), Board Certified in Cardiology Experience: Prior inpatient and outpatient adult cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (rate to be discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave, travel and license reimbursements where applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You ll Do: Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations for adult and geriatric patients Conduct echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, EKGs, and treadmill stress tests Manage patient care within a Level 2 trauma center with approximately 600 beds combined Collaborate with a team of 24 cardiologists and healthcare providers Participate in weekend call coverage and emergency consultations as needed Document in Oracle/Cerner EMR system Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols What You Need: Active New Jersey state medical license (or eligible to obtain) Board Certified in Cardiology (or Board Eligible with certification in progress) BLS and ACLS certifications required At least 2+ years of cardiology practice experience preferred Strong procedural skills including echocardiography and stress testing Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: Join a reputable healthcare system in Galloway, NJ, at a facility equipped with 600 beds and 23 ICU beds.
