We are seeking an experienced Echocardiology Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies. This role supports patient care through high-quality imaging, collaboration with healthcare teams, and ensuring accurate assessments of cardiovascular health. Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, contrast, and bubble studies following departmental protocols.
- Obtain detailed cardiac images and measurements to assist cardiologists in diagnosis.
- Evaluate patient history to optimize imaging quality and recognize abnormal findings.
- Communicate urgent or significant results promptly to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and care.
- Maintain equipment, adhere to safety standards, and document procedures accurately.
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Credentialed with RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of one year of echocardiography experience.
- Proven ability to travel and adapt to different clinical settings.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, Doppler, and imaging techniques.
