Help Desk Technician

$20 per hour

Central Transport

The Technical Support and Services Technician will be the main point of contact for IT related issues as they come into our help desk. The role requires strong customer service skills and timely answering of all technical questions. Shift & Compensation Full onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. Shifts available: Monday through Friday, 5pm-1am. Starting rate: $20.00 per hour. Additional pay: 6pm-12am $1.00 per hour; 12am-6am $2.00 per hour. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email. Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions. Provide remote support, software loading, and maintenance for all handheld and tablet technology tools. Qualifications Basic IT knowledge. Interest in pursuing a career in IT. Ability to multitask and prioritize a changing workload. Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime as needed. Strong organization and communication skills. Reliable and dependable worker.
