Produce Lead

Position Summary As a Produce Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you’ll do Lead the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club. Maintain an indepth knowledge of floor and backroom operations to ensure the produce area meets company standards for quality, inventory, sanitation, equipment usage, safety and compliance. Use digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Drive business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence, profitability, a clean and safe work area, accurate audit and compliance standards, and optimal merchandising. Teach and train the team to be highly effective, foster career growth, and develop talent internally and externally. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 6 months experience working in a fresh production department or supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising a team. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
