31E Correction Detention Specialist

U.S. Army Reserve

Job Overview:

As a Corrections/Detention Specialist, you‚Äôll be mainly responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in a military correctional facility or detention facility.¬†Additionally, you‚Äôll offer counseling and guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program.

Requirements

U.S. Citizen

17 to 34 Years Old

High School Diploma or GED

Meet Tattoo Guidelines

No Major Law Violations

No Medical Concerns

Testing & Certifications

26 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available

10 weeks of Basic Training

7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training

91 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)
