Up to $29.50/hour | CNC Machinist | 2nd Shift

Position: CNC Machinist Location: Sanford, NC Pay: Starting at $28/hour Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: 2nd Shift Greene Resources is seeking a CNC Machinist to join a growing forging and manufacturing operation. Experience Previous CNC machining and programming experience. Experience with both CNC and manual machining equipment. Experience operating HAAS CNC equipment preferred. Job Description Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam. Work with HAAS and Hurco machinery to manufacture tooling, fixtures, sample parts, and production support components. Perform manual machining operations, including cutting, milling, and modifying parts for tooling and fixture development. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Support tooling modifications, die repairs, and machine component fabrication for manufacturing operations. Inspect completed parts and maintain quality documentation. Collaborate with quality and production personnel to prioritize daily machining projects. Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Position Requirements Proficiency with Mastercam programming. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and safety. Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in tooling, fixture making, die modifications, or manufacturing support machining. Experience supporting the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment components. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
