Job Description WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Testing Hydraulic Control Systems and training on Mid-Range Traction Control Systems Troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits (Digital/Analog) Performing duties in Technical Quality Control when needed Working with high voltages (+5 - 700VDC and up to 600 VAC) Occasionally assisting customers via telephone and field visits Providing training and supporting other departments as required Performing other tasks as assigned WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU Associate degree in Electrical or Electronics, or equivalent two-year course Basic understanding of electricity in commercial and industrial settings Fundamental knowledge of electrical test equipment and electrical principles (Ohm's Law) Knowledge of basic electrical circuits: series/parallel, power calculation, diode bridge, AC to DC circuits Understanding of transformer types, single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase systems Basic knowledge of AC/DC motors, electromagnetic circuits, resonance, and measurement instruments Soldering and de-soldering skills Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and other test equipment Additional Job Details Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec Nidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity.
