Inside Sales Representative Universal Air Conditioner (UAC) Location: Mansfield, Texas | In person, on-site About UAC Universal Air Conditioner (UAC) supplies aftermarket automotive air conditioning and cooling parts for passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. Our customers include warehouse distributors, automotive parts retailers, and other businesses. We operate entirely business-to-business (B2B), with no direct-to-consumer sales. About the Role We are looking for an organized, motivated Inside Sales Representative to help support our business customers and grow sales. You will communicate with customers by phone and email, prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to keep customers informed and orders moving. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, is comfortable working with spreadsheets, and wants to learn the automotive aftermarket business. Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency is required. Automotive parts knowledge and familiarity with AI tools are a plus. Key Responsibilities Build customer relationships: Respond to customer inquiries and proactively contact existing and prospective business accounts by phone and email. Support sales growth: Follow up on quotes, introduce products, reconnect with inactive accounts, and identify opportunities to expand what customers purchase from UAC. Prepare quotes and support orders: Provide accurate pricing within company guidelines, check product availability, assist with order entry, and follow up on open orders and backorders. Use Excel daily: Work with customer price sheets, product lists, order information, and sales reports to organize data and identify opportunities. Coordinate internally: Work with customer service, purchasing, catalog, and warehouse teams to address product questions, order issues, and customer needs. Stay organized: Maintain accurate account notes, track open requests, and follow through on commitments to customers. Required Qualifications Microsoft Excel proficiency: Comfortable sorting and filtering data, using basic formulas, and accurately working with spreadsheets containing pricing, quantities, and part numbers. Microsoft Outlook proficiency: Able to manage customer email, calendars, and follow-ups professionally and efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence speaking with business customers by phone. Attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple requests while learning new products and systems. Ability to work in person at our Mansfield, Texas office . This is not a remote or hybrid position. Preferred Qualifications Automotive parts knowledge or an interest in learning about vehicle air conditioning, cooling systems, and the automotive aftermarket. Familiarity with AI tools to assist with research, drafting communications, or organizing information, while checking accuracy and protecting confidential data. Previous customer service, sales, or office experience; familiarity with customer management or order-entry software; or Excel skills such as lookup formulas and pivot tables. Prior automotive industry experience is not required.
