What You'll Be Engaged In
- Employ radiographic and computed tomography techniques to generate precise diagnostic images for expert evaluation
- Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers for accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Ensure proper patient positioning and equipment calibration for peak performance
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
- Maintain comprehensive logs that document imaging processes and equipment servicing
- Deliver empathetic patient support throughout the imaging experience
- Contribute to an organized, secure, and effective imaging environment
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is an advantage
- Completion of an accredited radiology program is mandatory
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Current BLS certification or willingness to acquire within 90 days of employment
- Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety legislation
- Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Adeptness in fast-paced settings and the ability to pivot as priorities shift
- A meticulous nature with a strong sense of accountability
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and innovative imaging software systems
