Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative maintenance procedures and repairs on Thermo King, Carrier and other refrigeration equipment for trucks, trailers and containers with little or no supervision
• Diagnose and repair/replace compressors, coils, electrical components, etc
• Use diagnostic equipment to flash controller, diagnose alarms, implement repairs, etc
• Use repair orders to record all work performed and submit on a daily basis
• Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner
• Follow established procedures to track work and complete forms connected with work assignments
• Ensure timely completion of work according to company regulations and procedures, and instruction from Lead, Supervisor, or Manager

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience with transport refrigeration or heavy truck repair with diesel engine and mobile air conditioning repair experience.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the employer's insurance policy
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local government and company standards for reliability and safety
• Familiar with Thermo King, Carrier, and other transport refrigeration equipment
• Have good verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Certified to use refrigerants, R134a, R404, R410, and others as needed
• May be required to use a laptop computer to diagnose and/or reference repair manuals
• Must be willing to be in an emergency after-hours on-call rotation
• Willingness to perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management
