Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruiting Partner - Talent Attraction Specialist to join our team and drive our talent acquisition initiatives forward. In this role, you will help attract top-tier candidates across various functions, ensuring a seamless and engaging recruitment experience in the Cedar Valley. This person should have a strong work ethic, networking skill set, and a community engagement mindset. The recruiting partner will be responsible for the attraction of new Financial Advisors and College Financial Advisors. They will help lead recruiting activity and goals for our firm along with the Managing Director and Development Officer. Primary Responsibilities: Build and develop effective referral sources including but not limited to Financial Advisors, staff, personal networks, centers of influence, and social media. Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to help build Northwestern Mutual Eastern Iowa’s brand and identify talent. Oversee candidate selection process, including scheduling candidate initial interviews, administering selection tools, and guiding candidates through the process. Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters and Advisors to share leads and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) 1-3 years experience in a recruiting or sales, or customer/client-facing role Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships High attention to detail Strong personal network and/or community involvement Interest in personal and professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
