A great sales opportunity can begin anywhere: on the showroom floor, over the phone or through an online inquiry. Landmark Automotive is looking for a Sales Manager who knows how to turn those first conversations into appointments, visits and vehicle sales.

You’ll lead the sales team, help structure and close deals, and coach associates using real calls, leads and customer interactions. This role is for a hands-on manager who enjoys developing people, improving the customer experience and seeing that work show up in the results.

What You’ll Own

• Lead sales opportunities across the showroom, eCommerce and phone channels, including deal structure, negotiation and closing.
• Coach Sales Associates on phone conversations, internet lead responses, appointment setting, follow-up, objection handling and closing.
• Review recorded calls, leads and customer interactions regularly. Use specific feedback, role-play and one-on-one coaching to build stronger habits.
• Make sure every internet and phone inquiry receives a prompt, professional and personalized response aimed at starting a real conversation.
• Drive a consistent CRM follow-up process, including a minimum 14-day strategy for internet and phone opportunities.
• Strengthen the handoff from first contact to the showroom through accurate CRM check-in and timely manager involvement.
• Monitor and assign phone and internet opportunities based on communication quality, coachability, process adherence and results.
• Keep the CRM useful and accurate, with complete lead sources, call and manager notes, appointments, customer records and deals created from phone opportunities.
• Improve the showroom sales process, guest sheet and early manager involvement to increase close rate and reduce missed opportunities.

How You’ll Measure Progress

You’ll track the numbers that show whether customers are connecting with the team and moving forward: internet response and contact rates, appointments set and shown, phone-up conversion, showroom close rate, and lead-to-sale results. You’ll also hold associates accountable for the quality of their follow-up, workplan completion, productivity, units and gross performance.

When someone needs support, you’ll identify the gap and build a practical coaching plan. When a process needs work, you’ll improve it.

What You Bring

• Automotive retail sales management experience is strongly preferred.
• A record of coaching and developing sales professionals.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems, internet lead management and telephone sales.
• Confidence in negotiation, objection handling, deal structure and closing.
• The ability to turn customer interactions and performance data into useful coaching.
• Energy, organization, accountability and consistent follow-through.

What Success Looks Like

The team gets better with every conversation. Customers receive timely, helpful follow-up. More phone and internet opportunities become appointments, more appointments become showroom visits, and more visits become vehicle sales.
