Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Location Chattanooga, TN Unit Information Unit Name: Emergency Department (ED) Number of Beds: 19 plus a 4-bed psych pod Patient Ratios: 4:1 Staffing Description: Day and night shift secretary, and a tech scheduled Monday through Friday for day and night shifts Type of Equipment: Hillrom, Stryker, GE, Lifepak defibrillator Documentation System: Meditech Floating Policy: May be floated to psych pod or to another emergency department within the system Certifications: Chest pain and stroke certified Job Requirements Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, active RN license Advanced Skills: Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets are preferred Dress Code Required uniform: Navy scrubs Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
