Job Summary:
The PeriOperative Services Registered Nurse provides expert nursing care to patients across all age groups during the peri-operative period, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes from admission to discharge. The role involves working in the operating room setting with a focus on orthopedic, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and peri-operative needs prior to surgery.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient comfort during procedures.
• Assist with surgical procedures and ensure adherence to sterile techniques.
• Educate patients and families about peri-operative processes and post-operative care.
• Provide call coverage as scheduled to support 24/7 patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with relevant state licensure.
• Proven experience working in peri-operative or operating room settings.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Certification in peri-operative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
