Databricks Developer - Georgia
We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Developer to join our innovative team in Georgia. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your expertise in data engineering and analytics to drive impactful data solutions. As organizations increasingly rely on data-driven decisions, your contributions will be essential in enhancing data workflows and creating efficient analytics pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define data models and architecture.
- Optimize existing data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data governance and security across pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing jobs for optimal performance.
- Participate in data integration efforts with various data sources and destinations.
- Document data processes, frameworks, and pipelines for future reference.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve data solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or big data development.
- Proficiency in Databricks, Apache Spark, and data processing frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
