Travel Cath Lab Tech

Titan Medical Group is seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting cardiac catheterization laboratories in diverse hospital environments. In this role, you will travel to client facilities to assist interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient care. As a Travel Cath Lab Tech, you will prepare procedure rooms, set up and maintain a sterile field, and operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures. You will verify patient identity, review orders, assist with patient positioning, and monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout each case, promptly reporting any changes to the physician and nursing staff. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, anesthesia providers, and recovery staff to ensure smooth case flow and an optimal patient experience. You will be responsible for ensuring proper use of fluoroscopy equipment and radiation protection strategies, applying ALARA principles, and correctly using shielding for patients and staff. Your duties will include managing supplies and contrast media, assisting with vascular access, supporting emergency response during complications or code situations, and documenting procedures accurately in electronic medical records and cath reporting systems. You will help maintain equipment functionality, report issues promptly, and support adherence to facility policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory standards. Because this is a travel role, you will adapt quickly to new hospital workflows, cardiologist preferences, and technology platforms, including advanced and robotic‑assisted systems where available. You will coordinate with Titan Medical’s internal teams on assignment details, scheduling, and compliance requirements, demonstrating flexibility with shifts, on‑call rotations, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed by each facility.
