Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with 2–4 years of experience who is looking to continue developing their technical accounting skills while gaining exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, and day-to-day accounting operations. The Accountant will work closely with members of the accounting and finance team and play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely financial reporting. Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations Assist with accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other accounting activities Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed Assist with internal and external audit requests Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Partner with other departments to resolve accounting-related questions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2–4 years of accounting experience Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliations Exposure to financial statement preparation and financial reporting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with an ERP or accounting system preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
