Personal Lines Insurance Producer

Location: Onsite - Brookfield, WI

The Perks!

• Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000/salary, based on experience
• Commission-driven, high-volume model given 20-25% personal-lines close rate

What You'll Be Doing

As a Personal Lines Insurance Producer, you'll serve as the trusted advisor individuals and families turn to for auto, home, renters, umbrella, and other personal coverage needs. You'll evaluate risk, match clients with the right policies, and close deals that build a book of business you can be proud of. Along the way, you'll earn a reputation as someone clients trust — and keep coming back to.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing an existing book of personal lines business while generating new opportunities through referrals, networking, and community involvement
• Conducting needs assessments and risk evaluations to recommend the right coverage
• Preparing, presenting, and closing insurance proposals with a focus on value and education
• Binding new policies and processing endorsements, renewals, and cancellations per carrier guidelines
• Performing account reviews to spot coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
• Building long-term client relationships that drive retention and account growth
• Partnering with account managers and service staff for smooth onboarding and ongoing satisfaction
• Keeping client records accurate and up to date in agency management systems
• Staying compliant with state insurance regulations and agency procedures
• Maintaining strong relationships with carriers and underwriting partners
• Hitting (and beating) sales, retention, and service goals

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• 2–5+ years of selling experience in personal lines insurance
• Proven track record of meeting sales or retention targets
• Solid knowledge of personal insurance products (auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella)
• Comfortable with high-volume outreach
• Strong consultative sales and closing skills with a client-first mindset
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed goals
