Physician assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Description Established allergy/asthma practice in Brooklyn is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team! The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast paced environment and has prior experience in allergy, urgent care center, or in a primary care office (adult or pediatrics). Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an NP or PA is preferred but not required. Hours are Tuesdays to Thursday 9am-7pm with flexible schedule Mondays and Fridays (40 hours per week). Responsibilities Prepare allergy vials, administer allergy shots and other medical procedures (skin testing, breathing tests and rhinoscopy) Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance Develop and implement patient management plans Maintain a safe and clean work environment Perform rhinoscopy (after appropriate training) Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience as a physician assistant or NP working preferably in allergy, primary care, urgent care center or pediatric office Ability to work efficiently Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
