Senior Manager, Clinical Contracts and Budgets

Senior Manager role overseeing clinical contract and budget negotiation for transcatheter heart valve clinical trials. Manages team, develops trial budgets, executes contracts across multiple types, and collaborates with clinical, legal, and finance stakeholders. Hybrid position based in Irvine, California.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned team members with coaching on clinical and contracts matters
- Draft, negotiate, and execute clinical trial agreements and budgets across multiple contract types
- Develop trial budgets based on fair market value assessments and clinical protocols
- Plan and direct moderate to complex clinical contract projects with accountability for timely delivery
- Identify risks, create corrective action plans, and escalate delays or issues to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field with clinical study agreement and vendor contract experience
- 10+ years managing clinical study agreements, informed consents, or vendor contracts (preferred)
- Certified Paralegal or contract certification preferred
- Healthcare-related contracts experience
- Track record in people management and team leadership
- Experience in regulated industry environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related systems
Compensation: $121,000-$171,000 base
