Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a privately held technology company to find an experienced Senior Accountantin Frisco, TX. This position offers a competitive salary of $85-95K , an excellent benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule after training, 3 days in office and 2 work from home. Primary Responsibilities: Perform month-end close activities for multiple entities within assigned deadlines, including preparation of financial statements for assigned companies. Ensure completion of the month-end closing package for each 12 subsidiaries. Prepare, compile, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required. Complete bank reconciliations and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely identification and resolution of discrepancies. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and intercompany allocations. Analyze period-end financial data and provide clear explanations for variances to budget and prior periods. Support accounts receivable management for assigned entities, including monitoring balances, reducing overdue accounts to under 60 days, and following up with customers on past due invoices. Prepare documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits, ensuring all audit requests are completed within required deadlines. Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support ad hoc accounting projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required 2+ years of experience in Accounting. Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries and Financial Statement preparation is required Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for accounting and financial purposes Experience with Month End Close procedures Knowledge and hands-on experience with major ERP #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
