Inside Sales Representative

Job Description Southern Material Handling is looking to add one Inside Sales Person. The company has a mapped out 5‑year growth plan and offers stable long‑term employment. As an Inside Salesperson, you will work in a fast‑paced environment that requires you to stay highly organized to meet deadlines. You will be in constant communication with customers and co‑workers, updating them on progress and facilitating smooth‑running projects. The Inside Sales position is an onsite office position focused on helping the Outside Sales Team with estimates, project entry, and service call follow up. Job Tasks Act as Customer Service Rep (CSR) to answer phone and book calls in Service Titan. Prepare estimates in Service Titan with SMH Costing Sheet in Excel as needed. Sell estimates in Service Titan. Monitor progress of projects for your inside/outside sales team in CRM and Service Titan. Follow up on potential leads for new projects immediately—phone, text, email. Maintain communication with customers. Be familiar with current product offerings; learn about new products and product updates. Review daily service calls run on your assigned accounts and take action. Key Performance Indicators Daily: Estimates sent within 24 hours – 100% Calls estimate follow‑up as soon as sent – 100% Calls existing accounts: 10 Review service calls and follow up – 100% Weekly: Daily ×5 Required Competencies Customer service/communication skills – phone, email, in person. Simple algebra, ability to calculate markups and costing. Return to and complete tasks even with multiple interruptions. Attention to detail. Ability to follow processes and ensure accurate data entry. Strong organizational skills. Self‑reminder, personal time management. Simple project management skills. Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote. Electronic and paper filing. General office admin. Maintaining confidentiality. Mac operating system.
