Clinical Role

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing nocturnist locums opportunities in Gainesville, Florida. The APP will work alongside three nocturnists with physician support available throughout the night.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: December 8, 2026
• Contract Length: 1 year
• Schedule: Night coverage
• Shift: 7:00 pm-7:00 am
• Coverage: Responsible for cross-cover floor calls
• Physician Support: Three nocturnists on-site to support the APP overnight
• Admissions: Additional APP coverage handles hospital cross-coverage and admissions, averaging 1-2 admissions per night
• Additional Setting: Coverage includes a rehab unit with approximately 30 inpatients
• Requirements: Active Florida license, Florida DEA, and clean file
• Credentialing: Emergency privileges may be available
