Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive LDRP care including triage, labor support, delivery, recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care
• Manage variable patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on census and acuity
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend coverage on an equally split schedule among staff
• Fulfill holiday coverage requirements, including working at least one winter holiday pair as assigned
• Float between sister facilities nearby as needed per assignment requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of LDRP or OB nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; seasoned travelers only
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under travel status
• Must commit to working at least 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access hospital setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-scope LDRP care independently in a low-volume environment
