Assistant Teacher

Description Kiddie Academy of Flushing is seeking an Assistant Teacher who is passionate and experienced in caring for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a daycare or school setting. College students are welcome to apply! Job Responsibilities: Establish positive relationships with children and their families. Ensure the physical, social, and emotional needs of each child are met daily. Assist teachers with supervising children during classroom activities, transitions, playtime, and daily routines. Support children's learning and development through games, activities, and hands-on experiences. Encourage positive behavior and help children develop strong social skills. Ensure all health, safety, and licensing policies and procedures are followed to maintain a safe environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom that promotes learning and safety. Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to provide a positive and supportive learning environment. Complete required classroom and Academy documentation, including daily notes, attendance records, and student accident reports.
