Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized police academy training program.
• Valid state certification or license to serve as a law enforcement officer.

• Ability to pass physical fitness tests, background checks, and psychological evaluations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or a related field.
• Experience in emergency management or first responder roles.
• Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse communities.

Responsibilities :

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents, providing first responder assistance as needed.
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports for legal proceedings.
• Enforce local, state, and federal laws impartially while respecting the rights of all individuals.
• Engage with community members to foster positive relationships and promote crime prevention initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing police training and professional development to maintain and enhance law enforcement skills.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and emergency management teams during critical incidents.
• Testify in court as required and assist in the prosecution of offenders.
