Clinical Substance Abuse Social Worker

Position Summary The selected candidate will perform intermediate supervisory and advanced operations service work developing and managing systems for maintaining properties and buildings. Responsibilities Assign work, supervise, train, and schedule leave of maintenance staff Complete property and unit inspections and set priorities Solve problems related to personnel, property, unit and equipment Solicit proposals from contractors and manage contracts, contractors, subcontractors and their staff Manage the physical improvements portion of the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program Oversee procurement of equipment and supplies Bill and control inventory of tools, equipment/parts and supplies Provide hands‑on solutions to complex mechanical situations Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent 6 years of related experience MD Class C driver’s license Background investigation Preferred: HVAC certification Ability to use a variety of construction/maintenance power and manual tools Complete knowledge of building/mechanical systems and building codes Strong management, communication and supervisory skills Ability to create basic architectural drawings and specifications, and interpret blueprints Knowledge of federal and local procurement procedures; knowledge of union requirements Proficient inspection software skills Knowledge of federal, state and county housing regulations and procedures Experience with federal, state and county housing inspections Knowledge of Davis‑Bacon federal wage rates Possession of a Maryland Home Improvement contractor/salesman license or comparable certification Qualification to perform lead paint visual assessments per state and federal regulation Ability to perform heavy lifting Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, outside weather conditions, risk of electric shock and vibration Application Process You must complete an employment application online to be considered.
