Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

Join Team Green – Grow For Life!

At GFL Environmental, we aren’t just picking up waste—we’re keeping communities clean and the environment moving forward. We are looking for a Container Delivery Driver who takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career with an industry leader. When you join "Team Green," you’re joining a family that values safety, hard work, and your professional growth.

We know that stability matters. Unlike long-haul or irregular-shift roles, we offer a schedule that lets you plan your life:

• 5:00 AM Start and work Until Finished: While your end time varies based on the route, this is a "get it done" environment. You’ll have the opportunity for consistent overtime, and once the job is complete, you’re home with your family every single night.

What GFL Offers You:

• Health & Wellness: 4 medical plan options (including HSA with employer contribution), plus dental and vision coverage.
• Competitive PAY STARTING AT $23/HOUR
• Future Security: 401(k) retirement plan with a company match.
• Work-Life Balance: 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
• Safety First: Annual work boot allowance and all required PPE provided.
• Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with free counseling services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Operations: Operate a container delivery truck and hydraulic systems to safely deliver, position, and remove solid waste containers.
• Safety Ownership: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections (Safe For Life) and maintain accurate route sheets.
• Vehicle Care: Maintain your truck like it’s your own—keeping the cab clean and reporting mechanical issues immediately.
• Customer Excellence: Represent GFL with a professional demeanor, ensuring containers are placed safely at customer sites.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience: At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to repetitively lift or move objects up to 50 lbs, and occasionally move up to 300 lbs using proper equipment.
• Vision: Strong depth perception for maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas.

Working Conditions:

You’ll be an active part of the community, working outdoors in various weather conditions. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment where your hard work is rewarded with weekends off, this is the role for you!

We thank you for your interest. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
