Overview

Significant experience building dynamic, AI-powered measurement frameworks and data products that harness large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and advanced analytics to inform strategy, set benchmarks, and translate data into brand and business impact. You've worked across earned, owned, shared, and paid activity and you're ready to bring an AI-first lens to demonstrating MSL's ROI in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

We are seeking a SVP, Agentic Measurement for our Digital Innovation Center of Excellence, based in our New York office. In this role, you will build and lead AI-powered measurement systems and data products for our clients. You will integrate LLMs, machine learning, and emerging AI tools to expand what insight and return on investment storytelling can be. You'll help scale these innovations across all of MSL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of LLMs and generative AI into MSL's measurement stack. This includes automated insight generation, natural language reporting, media analysis using AI, and predictive modeling.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve a deep POV on the cutting edge of AI tools, platforms, and partners (including foundation models, AI agents, and emerging evaluation frameworks) that benefit client work and advance industry thought leadership.
• Drive new AI-powered approaches and contribute to product development that delivers the most influential and impactful work for our clients.
• Lead measurement innovation including KPI-setting, success metrics, and storytelling around the value gained with an AI-augmented, always-evolving methodology.
• Develop standalone and integrated OESP measurement approaches that embed LLM capabilities, and partner with agency counterparts to build cohesive, AI-informed measurement ecosystems.
• Be the resident expert and inspiring leader on how AI is reshaping measurement needs across our diverse client portfolio, scaling AI-native standard processes and tailoring them to individual business goals.
• Stay at the frontier continuously connecting with earned media, digital, and data science counterparts to evolve measurement approaches at the pace of AI innovation.
• Champion AI-powered social listening, sentiment analysis, and campaign analytics platforms to measure success and generate data-backed recommendations for real-time optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive decisions that produce industry-leading, AI-informed work and deliver forward-looking POVs for clients and the industry.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner on AI's role in search, earned and social media, providing bold recommendations that challenge convention and inspire smarter campaigns.
• Deeply understand client backgrounds, industry dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging AI trends to identify where AI measurement can create the biggest leap forward.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in digital analytics, market research, or a related field; agency experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Gemini); LLM measurement tools (e.g. Scrunch, Profound, SEMrush); and AI/ML tooling for NLP, text analytics, sentiment analysis, or generative insight workflows.
• Working knowledge of advanced statistics, data modelling, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience with social listening and research platforms (Brandwatch, GWI, Meltwater, Quid, Simmons/MRI, and emerging AI-native tools).
• Deep expertise in crafting and evolving measurement approaches that redefine the return on investment of PR with an AI-first approach.
• Ability to grasp critical business issues and orient AI-powered data solutions around them, including developing innovative frameworks that simplify complex datasets and surface actionable insights.
• Experience with or strong interest in data visualization powered by artificial intelligence, generative reporting, and creative ways to present intelligence paired with excellent storytelling skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members including building AI fluency across teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational agility, and the ability to operate at the intersection of innovation and execution.

Compensation Range: USD $168,150.00 - USD $269,217.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may also be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
