Key Responsibilities

• Provides safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient-centric care under routine and emergent conditions across a variety of care settings including acute inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic/urgent care, and remote outreach clinics
• Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures within established scope of practice guidelines
• Conducts post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed, documented, and meet technical quality standards per department protocols and accreditation requirements
• Transfers images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepares studies for physician reporting
• Performs operator-level quality control checks, equipment cleaning, high-level disinfection, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a cardiovascular specialty, OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in radiologic technology
• Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for CT Certification (ARRT); certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire date
• AHA BLS certification required
• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies, and associated medical terminology
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, follow instructions, and maintain reliable attendance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Experience applying primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation
