Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Python, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing, with experience building scalable data pipelines and modern cloud-based data platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
Build and optimize high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Design and implement scalable data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
Optimize data processing, storage, and query performance within Snowflake.
Leverage Cortex AI/GenAI capabilities for code generation, data validation, and pipeline optimization.
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
Lead technical design, implementation, and delivery of data engineering projects.
Mentor development teams and promote best practices in data engineering, CI/CD, and data governance.
Ensure high-quality, secure, and production-ready data solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline development and enterprise data warehousing.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and performance optimization.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and data governance best practices.
Exposure to Snowflake Cortex AI or Generative AI capabilities is highly preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
Experience with DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Snowflake certifications are a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
