Team Leader ($20/hr, PM Shifts) - Lansdowne Resort & Spa

Job Details Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. The hourly base pay range for this position is $20 per hour. Work Schedule The work schedule for this position is PM shifts. Benefits Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. 401(k) retirement savings plan. Benefits eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment and number of hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.

SUMMARY

The Team Leader is responsible for the general operations of a property that is less than a 24/7 operation with nine (9) or fewer GSAs. Working with coworkers to ensure the site’s service standards are met or exceeded, the Team Leader coordinates and administers tasks, handles critical issues, and may make judgement calls when expediency is priority.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensures consistent delivery of the guest/patient service experience on all shifts, allocating labor resources and handling complaints under pressure. Participates in “The Show” and delivers “Aggressive Hospitality,” addressing guests with appropriate greetings. Checks in arriving guests/patients, explains parking procedures, and retrieves vehicles safely. Conducts effective room presentations, assists with bell services, and handles guest queries. Engages in hiring processes, fosters a safe environment, and provides orientation and on‑the‑job training. Recognizes performance and provides coaching, ensuring shift huddles occur on every shift. Builds relationships with client staff, maintains communication channels, and focuses on exceeding client expectations. Manages controls for scheduling, overtime, tip reporting, and timekeeping, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. The total amount of time for all functions of the job - 100%

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university. Required Licensure, Certification, etc. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age and must pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen. Work Experience One to two (1‑2) years of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Knowledge Knowledge of GSA procedures. Skills Must be able to drive manual transmission. Plan, set priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure. Demonstrated work ethic, drive, energy, and persistence to achieve goals. Maintain stability, dependability and professionalism when faced with changing and difficult situations. Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and various point‑of‑sale applications. Effective written and verbal communication with all organizational levels. Represent the company effectively in diverse settings with cultural appreciation. Speak, read and write Standard English. Read, analyze, and interpret business policies, procedures, manuals, training materials, and communications. Compose professional internal and external communications.

SCOPE

Authority to Act Job is fairly routine with specific directions; decisions are made within operational instructions. Budget Responsibility The employee has control over resources available only.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Talk or hear regularly; sit or stand for extended periods; run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to adjust vision and handle detailed visual tasks. Requiring lifting of up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly. Majority of work performed outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% of time may be required.
