Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a labor and delivery setting. Candidates must have experience in labor and delivery units. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 for labor and delivery and 1:3-4 for mother-baby care. The position requires every other weekend availability or 2 weekends per month. Float requirements apply. Certifications must be current and in hand at the time of submission. Experience with procedures such as amnioinfusion, circumcision assistance, and vaginal delivery is essential. Support for breastfeeding and car seat education is also required. Candidates must manage postpartum care and respond to complications such as hemorrhage and hypertension. Knowledge of neonatal assessments and resuscitation is necessary. The environment is fast-paced and requires teamwork across disciplines, including physical therapy and social services. Responsibilities include patient education, support during labor, and care for newborns. The role demands strong skills in assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication. Compliance with facility policies and standards of care is expected. Successful candidates will demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to patient-centered care. Travel experience is preferred.
