What You'll Do Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Linux environments. Install, configure, upgrade, and support Linux operating systems and applications. Work with RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, SLES, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions. Manage file systems, networking services, system resources, and applications. Diagnose and resolve operating‑system and application issues. Develop Bash scripts to automate system administration and operational tasks. Compile, install, configure, and maintain software applications. Support infrastructure automation and configuration‑management initiatives. Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability. Participate in upgrades, maintenance, optimization, and operational support. Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex infrastructure problems. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting solutions. Regardless of your specialization, all team members contribute to core Linux system administration and mission sustainment activities. Core QualificationsRequired Active TS/SCI security clearance Active NSA Full Scope Polygraph U.S. Citizenship Professional Linux system administration experience. Experience with one or more major Linux distributions, including: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) CentOS Rocky Linux SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) Ubuntu Linux installation and configuration experience. File-system administration. TCP/IP networking. Operating‑system troubleshooting. Application troubleshooting. Bash scripting. Software compilation and installation. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
