What You Will Be Doing Facilitate one‑hour life skills and social‑emotional learning (SEL) sessions with K‑8 students covering subjects like public speaking and focus, adhering to Alpha’s established framework. Conduct daily motivational meetings that ensure 100% of students reach their weekly application targets through age‑appropriate methods, including school currency and leaderboards. Develop Guides via direct observation, specific feedback, and practical training to ensure they execute sessions with equivalent energy and accuracy. Analyze Coachbot data and student records to detect students requiring support, then provide direct intervention. Mentor the designated student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques to model for all Guides. What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum. Delivering traditional classroom lectures. Compromising standards due to parent or administrative pressure. Working from an office reviewing administrative documents. Awaiting delayed performance reviews; outcomes are tracked live in Coachbot and adjusted immediately. Basic Requirements Currently residing in or prepared to relocate to the listed locations (relocation assistance available). Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline (Master’s preferred; conventional teaching certifications are not required). Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or comparable field. Demonstrated experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training systems. Proven history of managing a team of 5 or more individuals, including recruitment and performance‑based termination authority. Background in coaching, mentoring, or providing developmental feedback to enhance engagement and results. Direct experience working with children ages 5–14 in educational or developmental contexts. Competency in leveraging data and metrics for decision‑making and ongoing improvement. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Business. Prior experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator where you directly motivated children toward quantifiable objectives. Track record coaching adults in positions where performance was measured and evaluated. Confidence engaging large groups of children, commanding attention in a room full of eight‑year‑olds.
