This person will play a crucial role in providing seamless technical and operational support from our Information Services team to our End Users in a timely manner. The Help Desk Technician will be able to collaborate with both internal and external partners to analyze and diagnose intendents to identify root causes and implement solutions. The Help Desk Technician will work with the software SMEs to help bridge the gap between information Systems and the end user; so that both groups understand how the application works. The Help Desk Technician will have strong skills in creating and maintaining detailed support and training documentation.Qualifications:Required:An Associates degree or 3 years of experience in the field of Information Technology.Strong customer service skills.Strong problem-solving, analytical skills.Preferred:A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, or equivalent experience.Knowledge of construction industrySkills:Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technicians.Ability to work both independently and in a team environmentAbility to organize, prioritize and respond to multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to work with interruptions as problems arise needing immediate attention.Ability to build strong working relationships, influence, and constructively engage others at all levels of the organization.Strong understanding of technical concepts and requirements.Strong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to problem solveAbility to work with confidential data and maintain privacyAbility to professionally voice concerns and effectively deal with conflictPositive, can-do attitude and continuous learnerAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite skillsAbility to analyze complex data, identify patterns and assess risk exposureEffective communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholdersAbility to identify issues, evaluate options and develop practical solutions to mitigate risksOffice and Travel:Primarily works in corporate office out of Roseville, no travelThis role is required to work in the officeno on-call responsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:Provide system-related technical support and problem resolution by reviewing issues and providing relevant solutions.Ability to prioritize support requests based on a service level agreement with the business usersCoordinate support activities, including ticket management, issue tracking, and escalation processesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to support procedures and training materialsCollaborate with support teams, trainers, and subject matter experts to enhance support services and contentEnsure security best practicesOther Duties:Receive technology shipments in the Roseville officeAssist with setup and take down of technology in the Roseville officeOther duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience.
