Responsibilities Greet customers and provide them with quality food, ensuring prompt and cheerful service. Maintain a professional, courteous, and calm demeanor in all interactions. Communicate effectively with customers and team members. Unload, store, and display merchandise according to standards and policies. Monitor food temperatures and product quality to ensure freshness and safety. Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized. Sanitize cookware and utensils following health and company policies. Ensure proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation for merchandise. Operate equipment safely and maintain facilities properly. Adhere to all policies, laws, and regulations, including safety and food handling. Operate cash register as required. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Qualifications Minimum Willing to work weekends and holidays. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels, and training materials. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with all organization levels. Personal initiative and follow-through. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely handle cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and operate equipment. Desired Dependability and integrity in past work records. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of related laws and regulations. Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
