Grand Lodge Kitchen Assistant Assistant Manager (KAAM) - Seasonal Requisition Number: GRAND011392 Posted: May 28, 2026 Full-Time On-site Location Grand Lodge, 3505 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116, USA McMenamins Grand Lodge is hiring for a Seasonal KAAM (Kitchen Assistant-Assistant Manager). Description of the Position: The primary responsibility of KAAM is to assist in all kitchen operations under the guidance and direction of the Chef/Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing all regular line cook duties, regulating labor and food costs, overseeing side work, cleaning duties, training staff, and administrative duties as assigned by manager. The KAAM will often act as the host, oversee the smooth and effective running of the shift, work outside on a seasonal basis as well as indoors, and maintain excellent customer relations. The KAAM must be able to perform all opening and closing duties of the kitchen, provide appropriate service to the customer, troubleshoot issues, report them to the Head Manager and District Manager, and work well independently as well as part of a team. This role requires physical strength, ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment, and effective communication with customers and staff.
