Job Title: Industrial Painter

Location: West Chester, PA area

Salary: $20-30/hr

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial painting, particularly in sectors such as aerospace or automotive. This position requires expertise in applying coatings to various surfaces and materials used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
• Paint Application: Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers to ensure an even and durable finish.
• Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and ensure it is in proper working order.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in industrial painting, particularly in the aerospace or automotive industries. Candidates with only residential or commercial painting experience will not be considered.
• Skills: Proficiency in using various painting tools and equipment, including spray guns and sandblasters.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
