We're seeking a motivated, customer-focused Residential Leasing Consultant to join our Stamford headquarters team. In this role, you'll virtually manage leasing across multiple communities, partnering with on-site, marketing, and property management teams from first inquiry through move-in. What You'll Do: Deliver an Outstanding Leasing Experience Guide prospective residents through the leasing process from initial inquiry to signed lease, virtually (over the phone or via email) Respond quickly to leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the customer journey. Schedule and coordinate apartment tours with on-site teams. Build relationships with prospects while helping them find the best home to meet their needs. Drive strong lead-to-lease conversion through exceptional service and follow-up. Manage the Customer Lifecycle Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements. Process rental applications, verify documentation, and coordinate approvals. Manage deposits, balances due, concessions, renewals, move-in and move-out documentation and communications. Ensure prospect, applicant, and resident records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies. Optimize Performance Monitor leasing activity, response times, and pipeline performance. Maintain accurate CRM and property management records (Yardi experience preferred). Collaborate with sales, marketing, and on-site property teams to ensure a smooth handoff from prospect to resident. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance the customer experience. What We're Looking For: 2–5 years of high-volume customer service or off-premise sales environment. Proven ability to cultivate relationships, and convert prospects into customers through phone and digital communication Strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using CRM systems; Yardi experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
