Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location unspecified. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a Level III Trauma Center setting, supporting a busy department with a high nurse-to-patient ratio. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling demanding situations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must be able to handle very high ratios (1:9). The unit operates with 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications; COVID vaccination; at least 2 years of ER experience preferred; New York license issued.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/12/2026 to 01/04/2027.
• Additional Information: RN travelers are expected to pass competency exams with an 80% score, including medication and dysrhythmia recognition tests. Orientation to the specific unit is provided.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, NIHSS - AHA or APEX.
• Basic Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER experience preferred; experience requirement: 0 years.
