Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, sterilize and set up equipment, assist with patient positioning, and provide support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow. This assignment is located in Green Bay, WI at a hospital.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). CST required.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment. Employer will not accept candidates with only 1 year of experience.
• Robotics experience required. Experience with DaVinci XI is required.
• Ability to scrub and assist with sterile processing and patient positioning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience across diverse case types including general, robotics, bariatrics, ophthalmology, ortho, neuro, cardiac, urology, ENT, plastics, endovascular, and fistula procedures.
• Experience working in a trauma center, NICU, or maternity center environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:45am start - 3:15pm end.
• Orientation: two 8-hour shifts on unit.
• Floating: between Main OR and East side in the same building; occasional float to an offsite surgery center across town may be required.
• Support on unit: charge nurse coverage Monday through Friday; no charge on weekends/holidays.
• Number of ORs at facility: 19, split between two locations in the hospital.
• Parking: free, on site.
