Join our Kalispell, MT team and take full command of CNC setups and machining from first article to final inspection—all on a steady weekday schedule.
Role Snapshot- Location: Kalispell, MT
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Pay: $20–$30/hour DOE
- Execute efficient setups using hard jaws, soft jaws, angle plates, and other fixturing to stabilize parts and reduce changeovers.
- Program and dial in speeds/feeds to achieve the best possible surface finish and rapid cycle times.
- Target quick turnarounds—simple setups typically run 15–40 minutes, faster on repeat work.
- Operate manual mills and lathes to complement CNC operations when needed.
- Translate blueprints, travelers, and tolerance callouts into precise machining steps.
- Inspect with micrometers, calipers, height gages, and go/no-go gages to verify conformance.
- Deliver parts that meet spec, schedule, and quality standards—every run.
- Manual milling and lathe expertise to support CNC workflows.
- Strong command of tolerances, setups, and process optimization.
- Ability to read and act on prints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with precision metrology instruments.
- Math competence with fractions and decimals—no calculator crutches required.
- Detail-driven mindset and pride in workmanship.
