Associate Technician, Operations

Associate Technician in manufacturing operations for animal health livestock identification tags. Operates marking and labeling equipment, maintains production quality and output targets, and ensures strict compliance with standard operating procedures and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser, laser/ink-jet, or EID marking stations to mark and label livestock identification tags per specifications
• Maintain required daily output targets and communicate production delays to line lead
• Perform quality checks at specified intervals and stop production upon identifying nonconforming product
• Complete production documentation accurately and in real time, including startup sheets and downtime logs
• Maintain safe work practices, wear required PPE, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer operation experience and ability to learn production software systems
• Proficiency in basic math for production calculations and inventory verification
• Good manual dexterity and ability to safely handle materials and equipment
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Effective communication and ability to identify and escalate issues promptly
