Contract Production Planner | 1st Shift | Canton, OH We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team in Canton, OH. This position involves developing and maintaining production schedules, purchasing raw materials, and managing supplier relationships to support manufacturing requirements. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and capacity. Purchase raw materials, components, and services to support manufacturing requirements. Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability while minimizing excess stock. Manage supplier relationships, pricing, delivery performance, and issue resolution. Analyze demand forecasts and adjust purchasing and planning activities accordingly. Support ERP implementation projects, including Oracle system setup, data migration, process development, testing, and user training. Generate and analyze reports to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain and manufacturing performance. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations. ERP implementation and administration experience, preferably with Oracle. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems. Excellent communication and supplier management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications A college degree is highly preferred, but pursuit of a degree or internship experience is also considered. Exposure to manufacturing environments. Knowledge of production scheduling and planning. Familiarity with SAP and purchase order management. Why Work Here? You will work in a cell with blueprints, power and hand tools, and work orders to assemble custom fluid handling equipment. Our facility is temperature controlled and offers an excellent culture. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of North Canton, OH. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
