Sr. Data Scientist
SGS Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop key predictive models. Develop and recommend data sampling techniques, data collections, and data cleaning specifications and approaches.
- Analyze data using advanced analytics techniques using – Python, R, Scala, or equivalent Spark, Hadoop file system and others
- Access and analyze data sourced from various Company systems of record. Support the development of strategic business, marketing, and prog
- Provide expert data and analytics support to multiple business units.
- Projects to quantify investments to Reliability Improvement impact; Reporting out on historical Reliability Trends; Prioritization of Areas needing grid hardening and rejuvenation; Stakeholder Collaboration across the organization.
Skills:
- SQL; Python; Power BI
- Experience in Python (Packages such as pandas, SQLAlchemy, NUMPY, Native Python Data Structure); SQL; Azure DevOps; GIT Commands.
- Strong Analytical Skills, Background with Statistical Modeling and Predictive Analysis. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for Job function.
- Soft Analytical Skills, lack of Enthusiasm, Monotone (Non-collabrator)
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors in Computer Science
- 5+ Year of experience as Data Scientist
