This position is ideal for someone with hands-on electrical wiring or assembly experience who can read schematics and takes pride in accurate, quality work. You'll help assemble and wire electrical systems and controls used in commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.What You'll Be Doing:Install and wire electrical components in HVAC equipment.Route, secure, label, and terminate wires, harnesses, and cables.Install relays, transformers, circuit breakers, sensors, control boards, PLCs, and VFDs.Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures.Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires.Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, and engineering drawings.Perform visual inspections and basic electrical testing.Conduct continuity checks and verify wiring accuracy.Identify wiring or component issues and assist with troubleshooting.Complete required production and inspection documentation.What We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous electrical assembly or wiring experience.Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Basic understanding of AC and DC electrical systems.Experience with wire preparation, crimping, and electrical terminations.Ability to use multimeters and continuity testers.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Dependable attendance and ability to work well with a team.Preferred Experience:Commercial or industrial HVAC equipment wiring.HVAC electrical controls and components.Electrical control panel assembly.PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automated controls.Electrical troubleshooting.NEC or industrial electrical practices.Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience.Physical & Safety Requirements:Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work within equipment areas.Ability to distinguish wire colors and read small labels.Follow required PPE, electrical safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.Maintain a clean and safe workstation.Benefits Upon Permanent Hire:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with employer match.PTO/Vacation.Paid holidays.Attendance bonus opportunities.Weekly perfect-attendance incentives.Monthly employee giveaways.Why Join Openwork?$18.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience.Weekly pay.Consistent Monday–Friday schedule.Overtime opportunities.Long-term career growth potential.Opportunity to develop HVAC electrical and controls experience.Supportive, team-oriented manufacturing environment.If you have electrical wiring or assembly experience, can read electrical schematics, and are interested in working with commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
