Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer

Contract Manufacturing Engineer Location: On‑site, Minneapolis Area, MN Pay Rate: $50–78 per hour Responsibilities Support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and stakeholder communication. Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, and performance metrics. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams. Drive resolution of quality issues, CAPAs, audit actions, and process improvements. Support product launches and ensure processes are scalable, repeatable, and compliant. Identify opportunities to improve capacity, efficiency, and operational performance. Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and quality system requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 4+ years of engineering experience in medical device, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with design controls, process validation, risk management, and statistical analysis. Strong knowledge of quality systems, change control, and engineering problem‑solving methodologies. Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
